For this last blog I want to do something a bit different and still include fashion in to it. And the story begins… One day for lunch I was eyeballing this guy when I realized that he might be from the army or any arm-force. To my surprise he was not I could help to notice the he was wearing an H&M 2009/10 Military jacket. Military jackets have been in and out of the fashion world, and this year it is a hot trend picking up fast. What I love about this trend is that it is not only for men but foe women! Yes ladies you would be able to wear a military jacket and look hot doing it too. The military jacket has always been a man’s domain, it holds the hole, “I am strong, man that loves my country”, and it has not changed, until now. Yes man will look manly and women will look powerful and strong as well. It seems that the trends will even the playing field for both sexes because both man and women will lock strong and powerful. Now pay attention there are a lot of ways of pulling this trend off without getting pulled over by the fashion police.

How to wear it

Men

:OK guys a simple shirt and some dark washed jeans will do. Now the trick is you could still look sharp and look great no matter what you wear. The jackets are ether long or short chose any style that you like.
Women: Ladies if the guys can do it so can we. There are different styles out there…so pick a style that helps your body shape and one you love. There are many colors and styles so take your time.

Rock and Goth Styles
Women: For the ultimate in rock/gothic chic, skinny pants or shiny legging are the perfect accompaniment and with killer heels.
Men: Movies can also be seen as a heavy influence from The Crow including the Gothic ripped trousers and black boots and the metallic body combat suit, a similar cut to Christian Bale's costume in Equilibrium. Dark colors and you guys are done.

Classic and Elegant
Men: Gentlemen you guys for the classic and elegant look go for the dark blue and the gold jackets. Put it with and grey or white shirt and some jeans and you are good to go.
Women: Ladies the military jacket classic look is white with gold or dark blue with gold and a splash of red. Gold and white military jacket with some blue jeans and some boots and your good, don’t forget to you accessories. As for the dark blue and gold jacket, a red blouse some dark blue jeans and some cute shoes and you’re good.

The military jackets are sold in ever department store, they for $65 to $100 dollars. You might be asking yourself why would any-one want to wear such an out-fit. I believe that as fashion moves forward, so do standers of beauty for both men and women. It is a pool that everybody is involved and helps identify with our gender and individualism. It could ether help use or hurt us in finding our identity, because in the stereotypes of both men and women are part of our culture and somehow we are suck in to it. Fashion in this day in age is a fun-house a vertex that never ends. We are part of it no matter what, you can run but can not hide.
